1963 Vespa VNB with upgrades
Year/Make/Model1963 Vespa VNB with upgrades
DescriptionI bought an old round-tail VNB about 14 years ago and decided to go nuts on building it -- this is the result. VNB frame / cowls, P200 engine, Pinasco 213cc kit, 28mm carb w/ vacuum fuel pump, ported / polished case and inlet, Bitubo rear shock, PK front fork (for 10" wheel conversion), Rally fender, SIP front disc brake, SIP expansion chamber, reproduction dummy tank with custom rear-mounted seat hinge, and a headset from a Brazilian Vespa (never seen anything like it. Got it from Vespa Supershop a LONG time ago). Despite the mix of parts, it all fits together surprisingly well and rides very nicely. I'm sure I missed something on there, but I've put a lot of love into this bike over the years. The problem is that I just don't get a chance to ride often enough and I'm tired of just paying insurance on it for the handful of days a year I do ride it. As such, it only has about 300 miles on the rebuild. There are some nice, small touches that I've always liked, such as the cowl/fender flashing that uses strip lighting for markers, and the custom cut "Vespa 200" script badge (it replaced the VNB's "Vespa 125") on the legshield. It also has low-profile bar-end turn signals, which I've always liked. Note, the pictured side-stand has been replaced with a traditional center-stand. Asking $3400 OBO. Please feel free to ask any questions.
