| Description | Selling a clean and original one owner Vespa , Purchased in Germany in 1981 and then brought back in early 90's to Texas where pass some of her life and then moved to Florida . Solid and original scooter all around, nice preserved scooter with original paint and accessories (Chrome is not great in the rack ) from the era , original invoice and registration, original books , original tool bag ,original air pump and some receipts ( all from Germany ), everything work with exception of the ignition switch to kill the engine ( corroded wire found ) since it doesn't have an additional kill switch , so I just close the fuel tap and let it seat until engine die. Things added in the last couple of months that are not original : new battery , new tires (3) and clear turn signal lenses. SCOOTER IS RARE in the states ...produced for 3 years and never imported to the States , engine is very similar to the 150cc but with a shorter stroke what make it interesting to upgrade with a cylinder kit, also comes with CDI ignition instead of a point /condenser style , cool different scooter and a topic of conversation in the next ride/rally , engine runs and shift good , max speed 47 M.P.H , legshield has original sticker from German dealer that match original purchase invoice ( How cool is this ? ), Honest scooter , hate to sell .. but to many toys so little space and time. $ 1800 ... no trades especially for love poisons or funny non sense offers, thanks ! |
