| Description | Up for sale is a 1979 Vespa P125X with only 491 original miles. This scooter had been sitting for some time that we ended up having to replace the motor's seals. Everything on this scooter is in perfect working order and this scooter feels and rides like new. Unfortunately the scooter sat outside and sustained some surface rust to the body. This can be restored but we decided to keep it original versus replacing it with aftermarket front fender and cowls.
Here is what we have replaced only because it sat for so long...
Motor rebuild: New Gaskets, seals, buffers, oil conveyor rib - everything else was in basically new condition
New brake pads front and rear (Newfren)
New Horn (Italian)
Right Hand Hi/Lo Switch complete
Left Hand Turn Signal - Cover Only
New Center Mat
Carburetor rebuild with all new gaskets, float, needle
Fuel System: New Fuel Petcock, Fuel Line, Oil Line, and Euro Fuel Lever
Battery: New and we replaced the fuse
Helmet Hook: New (aftermarket)
Rear Protection of Frame: New
Kickstart Lever: Polished with new kickstart rubber
New Misc hardware was replaced throughout the scooter. This is a rare find and we did everything to preserve both the patina and the beauty of such a low mile scooter. Price is firm and comes with a affidavit of loss / Release of interest notarized by the original owner. This is all you need to register this scooter. |
