Description | Unrestored, and last of the all metal Vespas. 1977 Rally 200. Rebuilt with SIP P series conversion to Ducati CDI along with new wiring harness (12v conversion). Daily driver. Typical scuffs and dings but original paint and US version (fuel tap was replaced with BGM but retains the USA lever). New cable inners and outers, BGM big box touring pipe, new seatcover, decent Pirelli tires, BGM front damper. Working speedo from Speedo-King. New Euro tailight. Rear tailight holes have been cleanly welded over and touched up to match. Engine items replaced as needed (cruciform, seals, clutch, etc). Starts in 1-3 kicks everytime. Easily hits 65mph. New front fender (unpainted), new silver decals for cowls and fender, US taillight and original black rear rack (not installed) come with the purchase. Items to be addressed: horn works only at ~30mph since it is original 6v. Typical Vespa machining of front hub... front brake chatters a bit under hard braking. No title. Registered with Vermont plates.
