I have a title for it, but for some reason, it says that it is from 1972...which it isn't. This was last registered in Massachusetts about 10 years ago.
I started working on this years ago, and it just sat there...
Things to be aware of:
-I rebuilt this engine with a friend. When we were replacing the bearings, one of the engine cases cracked so I bought a new case to replace the half that broke. When I was putting the cylinder on, I couldn't get it on. The two cases do not line up perfectly. I was able to fit a DR 130 cylinder on it. To be very honest, I don't know if the non matching halves will be an issue. You need to take off the cylinder and inspect it for yourself. I do not know if this is safe or if it will cause any leakage.
-Since the engine was rebuilt a number of years ago by hobbyists, you should open up the engine and inspect that it was put together properly.
-The VIN is pretty much illegible. You might need someone to re-stamp the VIN in order to pass inspection.
-This comes with a lot of extra parts as you can see in the photos. Some are new & some are used. You will probably have to buy a few parts to complete this project, such as a gas tank.
You must pick this up. I cannot deliver it to you. |
