| Description | I have several 60s and 70s Vespas, including the Rally 200, a GS160, an SS180, and a couple of Sprints. Without question, the Rally is the one I drive with confidence in traffic. It has a lot more horsepower than the others snd just feels most comfortable and civilized. I would not hesitate to recommend it as the model to have.
Mine USA Model 1974 Vespa Rally 200 is essentially perfect. It has a chassis that was repainted by an aerospace painter for the previous owner, and is glossy and scratch/dent/corrosion-free. The engine has a fresh rebuild by a Vespa guru in NY, again, for the previous owner. It has its original electronic ignition, which is sought after and hard/impossible to find. It even has fresh tires and brakes.
One might say it "needs nothing" aside from a couple of rubber bits, but since it is 46 years old, I can offer no warranties or guarantees. I can tell you that it is without question my favorite, and it breaks my heart to sell it. My little boy will be unhappy to see it go because it looks the coolest of our scooters.
It is titled in my name in the Commonwealth of Virginia, is registered and insured, and driven quite often, though never flogged.
