| Description | $3,700 - Donor scooter is a 2005 Vespa PX150 purchased new in 2008. The 150cc motor was swapped out with a new PX 200 motor. A Sito Plus exhaust was fitted and the carburetor up-jetted to suit. This allows the auto lube to still function correctly. Had a minor spill in 2019 with cosmetic damage so decided to rebuild with a new paint job. A new old stock Sprint Veloce headset with speedo was fitted and a bracket welded on for the new hydraulic disc brake lever. New tubeless rims and tires have been installed. Scooter has a GS 160 body kit from SIP and includes cowls, front fender, glove box, horn cast, vintage kick start lever and all standard trim parts. Fitted a new loud horn and working Jag lights on cowls and start button relocated to glove box. Rear suspension is a gas filled adjustable Bitubo shock and the front is a YSS adjustable shock lowered to keep the GS 160 appearance. The paint job is early 1960's Eddy Grimstead style. Comes with the three original split rim wheels and tires if wanted. Miscellaneous spare parts including bulbs and a battery charger. Free and clear title in my name (2nd owner) and scooter has about 12,000 miles on it and about 200 miles since rebuild. |
