The horncast is the piece of bodywork that runs down the center of the legsheild on any scooter.

It usually conceals the horn of the scooter.

On a Lambretta, it is removable and features the bike's headlight unit on the LC, LD, and the TV and Li Series One.

They differ slightly from model-to-model. Some have sheilds and some have badges.

On a Vespa they are usually molded and welded into the monocoque body of the bike.

This varies on the later models such as the P200, PX125, and T5, where they were usually a molded plastic piece bolted on.
