The Vespa 125 U (for Utilitaria); also known as the Vespa Junior was a 1953 "budget model".
It had a fixed front suspension and kept the older 4.5 hp 125 motor and had a painted script Vespa logo on the legshield instead of chrome. It was also the first Vespa with the headlight on the handlebars, rather than the front fender.
