Description | 1981 Vespa P200.
It saddens me to sell this but I never ride on the road any more. This scoot deserves to be ridden and it is just sitting in my garage collecting dust.
There really are too many custom modifications to mention but I will try to provide the highlights;
- Drop handlebars with large halogen headlight
- Trailtech Vapor gage including Tach, speedo, cylinder head temp
- Blue LED turn signals
- Lambretta front forks with custom fender
- T5 front horn cover
- SIP stainless steel running boards
- Ancillotti style seat
- Teardrop break light
- Side stand and center stand
- Lots of chrome
Although this scoot looks really nice the real gift is in the engine. I build and race largeframe vespas and this engine is the culmination of everything I have learned about building a super-fast yet reliable power plant. Here is the breakdown of the engine mods;
- Delorto 30mm carb
- Malossi reed valve, cases machined to match with huge intake opening
- Mazzuchelli long stroke crankshaft
- Malossi aluminum 210 cylinder kit, cases machined to match ports, tuned transfers and piston windows
- Custom 1.5mm copper head gasket for extra cooling and effectively makes for 220cc displacement.
- Banded Cosa clutch for high rpm
- SIP JL2000 chrome expansion chamber exhaust
When I built this engine about two years ago I used all new bearings and seals. I have never used a lightened flywheel so they should all be in great shape. I just did a full service including carb clean and synthetic gear oil change. I have only ever used synthetic gear oil and have only ever used Motul Factory Line 800 synthetic two stroke oil mixed with 94 octane gas.
I would like to get $4000 for this. I can't arrange shipping and do not have paypal. If you can pick it up and pay cash it's yours. I can email more pics by request. |
