Description | Pretty firm at $3,500
This would be what you might call 'rare as hell' here in the States. It's a 1961 Siambretta Series 2 TV175. Which means, this is a Lambretta made in Italy and assembled in Argentina in 1961. It was restored a few years ago, and is still looking great! Engine rebuilt, during restoration.
Just to make it very clear, this scooter has NEVER been to the magical scooterland called ASIA. This scooter has NOT been pieced together, it was NOT built from many parts that were destroyed and 'fixed'. The SIAM part of the Lambrettas name does NOT indicate Thailand or any other country in Asia. This is NOT a hunk of junk.
The crash bars have been removed but are included in the sale.
This bike is one of the first 1000 made and it starts, runs, shifts, stops like a dream!
You want this Lambretta, you should buy this Lambretta.
No dents anywhere on this scooter. All of the dings have been pictured, the worst of which is on the front fender. That happened during transport home from the shipping center 6 years ago. BUMMER CITY, but it's not rusted or anything stupid, so it'll be an easy touch up fix for the new owner |
