| Description | nice solid original 1963 chrome ring TV175 series three project. Has a very straight leg shield, correct original front forks with dampers and disc front brake! engine is the correct original TV175/2 motor and has great compression and turns over easily. Carb is the original dellorto SH1/20. I have replaced the wheels and installed new tubes and tires to roll the bike around on. Front fiberglass fender has been broken, but i have included an original one off another TV 175. The right rear foot board has been bent and cut for some reason so I have included another one from a LI125 riverside I parted out. The motor mounts have collapsed and the pin has been replaced, i do not have the correct long motor pin, but i have included original re-zinc plated engine cones, bolts, and new wavy washers for mounting. also included that are not original to the bike are a pair of original early chrome ring TV175 “wider” LI style side panels that are correct for all early production TV models. These are rusty and thin in spots so may not be good for a restoration, but great for a patina daily rider. The headset controls are seized and did not come off this bike, but I have included the original perches and control rods from this bike as well as another headset top from an LI special and an NOS headlight unit i bought in Italy at the IMOLA swap! I've included a freshly cleaned and nickel plated GP gas tank with drip cup, chrome cap, & good working petcock plus some other small parts for the bike and an original TV175 exhaust and U-bend since the straight farmer bodge pipe is probably gonna be really loud! Parts that are missing include: seat catch, glove box door, bridge piece, gas tank straps, air cleaner assembly incl. intake elbow. that’s about it! this should make for an easy restoration or just get it running as is and enjoy it. more pics here http://2ndavenuescooters.com/?p=6658 |
