this was original on my 1959 s2 when I drug it out of a barn. I sent it off to have rechromed, and the dick hole chromer just polished off the pitting instead of filling with copper, sanding, filling and then replating. (moral of story never mail order chrome services) I was so disappointed I never remounted it. the chrome is actually very good, just shitty work under it. this would be good for a patina bike or rat, or if you are inclined and have a good chromer who can restore it then it would clean up nice. |
