| Description | I own and have title to a 1953 vespa scooter. It has the headlight on the fender. A rebuid was started by me as all the parts are there but it now sits in my basement mostly done. The title date on the scooter may be in error and could be corrected. It could be an earlier scooter. The cowls/fenders are aluminum. The body is painted but not the right color. Almost all metal work is completed. I have a set of extra aluminum cowls that are earlier and the right side cowl has that cut out that shows the motor. That cowl makes it look older than anything I have seen. Very retro. I also have an aluminum horncast but the one on the scooter is steel The motor was rebuilt but never started. The aluminum fender headlight is original as I also came upon an aftermarket unit which is not just as good. I am interested in selling this scooter but not sure what it is worth.
