1963 Vespa VBB 150
Year/Make/Model1963 Vespa VBB 150
DescriptionThis is a great little bike that always turns heads. The paint is rich and lustrous with only a few scratches. The engine is strong and it shifts well (1st gear is a bit wonky, but you get used to it). There is one "Stadium" style mirror and a back fold-down rack with a spare tire holder and cover. I have owned it for 6 years and have found that I really don't ride her very much anymore. That's where you come in. I want this scoot to go to a good home; someone who will ride her often. If you have not owned a vintage Vespa before, I urge you to do some research about care and maintenance before buying one. They do require some tinkering from time to time and can be finicky, but they are very simple to work on and a blast to ride. This one runs and rides well. The only issue it has is that it takes several kicks to turn over when cold. After it get's going though, there are no problems. I don't know anything about the bike's history, but it appears that the 8" wheels have been replaced with 10" wheels which definitely makes the ride more comfortable while improving safety. Please message me if you have any questions or want to take her for a spin. Local pickup is preferred. I will not arrange shipping for you, but if you are out of the area and make the proper arrangements, I will work with your shipper to get it to you. Good luck!
