| Description | Have decided to part with my rare original Cushman badged Vespa GS150. I purchased this restored from Scooter Centrale in Hartford CT in 08' and have the title, but have not retitled it in MA, as I only run it a few times each year as part of my collection.
This was an above average restoration throughout when I acquired it, and over the years I have added or replaced many pieces that were either not original or the best quality parts used in the restoration. For example, since acquiring it, it now has actual original NOS Ulma 107 legshield trim, NOS headlight, NOS ignition switch, NOS headlight switch, NOS choke/intake assembly, NOS speedometer, NOS taillight, and exceptionally rare accessory spare wheel gas tank with a custom GS gas cap, and the list goes on and on with upgrades.
I also have neatly installed a cutoff switch off the original rectifier, so the battery no longer drains when the scooter is not in use, and have neatly adapted the battery tray with a special bracket to run aftermarket batteries, and it remains its original 6V.
Overall it runs well, and shifts like an early Vespa does, and all the engine details are there that should be there. There are very few nicks or chips in the nice paintwork, and it has the correct profile VS5 model seat. Attached are several pictures but I can take more for serious buyers. I have priced this GS at $7500, and this price is firm given how much more I have invested into this scooter. This GS also comes with several original GS tools, and complete dealer service/parts manual in excellent condition, along with a good size box of valuable spare parts.
