2008 Genuine Stella 2T
Year/Make/Model2008 Genuine Stella 2T
Description2008 Genuine Stella - $1500. Purchased this Stella last year with the intent of fixing it up and using it as my get-around but decided the hobby was not for me putting maybe 70 miles onto the odometer. Garage kept year round. Many more pictures on request. Details: Two stroke 150 cc engine (the good one) and pretty simple to work on. Runs well, pulls hard, shifts smooth, stops quick, tracks straight, and spedo & odometer function. The previous owner said he had maintenance performed at Scooter World prior to me purchasing it off of him. I performed a fluid flush shortly after. Work I had completed: New led turn signals and rear brake light along with a solid state flasher (as covered at Modern Buddy) New sealed cell battery so no more filling water levels Rebuilt and cleaned the carb, no rejetting as it is still using stock jets and specs New rubber on feet, handles, carb intake hose, a few other random places New Heidenau K47 tires with maybe 10 miles on them New Pinasco tubless rims New spark plug Issues: Gas gauge does not work, float moves up and down so it might be the relay but never got that far to trouble shoot. Small slow drip somewhere around the carb. It is either the plastic screw on the back of the carb box or one of the hoses leading into the card box. Spent time on LML Owners, Modern Buddy, and Scooter Central but never found a clear answer to the issue from others that reported a similar problem. Result is a small dribble on the floor. The Pinasco rims have a slow air leak to them and was contemplating switching back to the original rims with the new tires on them. Discussion over at Modern Buddy or LML owners, I don't remember, seems to support this happening as they can be a pain to mount the tire proper. I just got in the habit of filling them up before heading out. Other details: Horn, blinkers, and lights, electric start all work. The few times I tried the kickstarter it worked but was too lazy to keep using it over the electric start. Missing the spare tire cover. Body has a few scuffs and scratches on it but no rust that I noticed. Worst of the scuffs are on the side panel without the Chicago flag but both have them. I never laid it down but it appears to have fallen over at on point in it's life time, no idea. No tears on the seat. Also comes with: Two keys Original wheels New helmet Cover tools and book Misc maintenance items and whatever other items I find floating around. Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them.
