| Description | This is an all original (with original paint!) Lambretta LI 125 with only 130 original miles. I bought it with only 80 original miles in 2013. Contrary to what one might expect from a bike so old with so few miles, it starts and runs like new--just like a Lammie never broken-in. Even the original tires are not glassy or cracked but very pliable with like-new tread. It has suffered some cosmetic damage in storage in the form of chipped paint and some minor surface rust. Someone also replaced the petcock with a Home Depot valve. I have a correct replacement, but not sure if the ex-wife will send it along. Famed Lambretta restorer Daaren Boreham (Calgary, Alberta) has examined the bike more than once and can confirm the condition. He was also kind enough to give me the above-mentioned petcock. Looking for something in the $6,000 range. The bike is currently in the Seattle area (Bremerton) but will be shipped to me in Chapel Hill, NC at the end of Sept. Email for more photos. |
