1979 P200E - STOLEN
Year/Make/Model1979 P200E - STOLEN
DescriptionSorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I am not sure where else to turn (and at least I am not offering psychic services). My highly modified P200E was stolen on September 22 from the University of New Mexico Campus in Albuquerque. The market here is so small, I can't imagine the thieves trying to sell it in the state, so I am trying to put out a national alarm. The bike: 79 P200E. White seat and passenger pad on BBQ style rear rack. Rear pad has original black "Vespa" embossed panel, with the letters in white. Euro tail-light conversion and euro fuel tap conversion. Sidepanel badge reads "PK 50" instead of stock P200E badge. 3 Heidenau K58's. Auxiliary driving light next to headlight. Chrome mesh rock-guard on headlight. Original horncast horn replaced with a Fiamm horn located below the body, air pump located in the glovebox. Heavy duty centerstand. Slight oil-leak from oil tank. Running a Pinasco 210 kit, bumped to 225 with a stroker crank. Vortex carb. Pinasco tubeless rims, with the front machined out to fit the aftermarket Grimeca disc conversion. Scoot RS full hydraulic master cylinder conversion. SIP Road XL pipe and SIP shocks front and rear. Sorry for all the details, but listing in case somebody tries to part out on Scoot.net. And sorry for the older, weird headless body photo, but I did not plan on having this one stolen, so I did not take any good glamour shots of the bike in advance. Offering substantial cash reward for any information leading to recovery - no questions asked. Feel free to email or text if you have any leads. THANKS!!!!!!!!! John
