This bike has been fully rebuilt by Vespa specialists here in New Rochelle, who have been collecting and restoring Vespas for the last 35 years, using the best parts and factory service tools. The engine was completely overhauled with a new crankshaft, bearings, seals, gaskets, piston, points, condenser, clutch, ignition coil and many other parts. The body was completely disassembled, sand blasted, epoxy primed, body worked, high build primed and top coated. Then it was treated to fresh rubber bits, tires, shocks, fuel tap, brakes, seats (Pascoli), lights (Siem), etc.
This is NOT a low-quality, polished turd that was cobbled together somewhere in Asia. This is a true, full, restoration of a bike that came to the US straight from Italy in 1961, and has remained here all its life. All restoration work was done properly, and carefully by experienced mechanics. The bike is a beauty and she runs great. Since the restoration, the bike has been driven less than 10 miles, to make sure it is functioning correctly.
New York does not issue titles for bikes this old, so we will give you a bill of sale and all other documentation you need to legally and easily register this bike in NY on a transferrable registration.
