| Description | If you know vespas, you know how desirable the SS180 model is to collectors. This example is in largely, but not entirely original condition. For example, there are a few spots of touch up on the body, and MAYBe the front fender and front of the legshield was resprayed many years ago - I can't tell for sure. There is a little paint loss in places, as shown in the pics. The chrome legshield trim is new aftermarket, NOT the original stainless trim. The gas tank has been blasted recently and is clean inside -- but there are just a couple of pinholes in the top of the tank. The engine starts easily and runs well -- but has not been rebuilt, so it would probably be a good idea to freshen it up before relying on it. I have changed a few of the rubber items on the engine, like the wire protectors and air bellows. All cables turn, but are a little stiff and would benefit from being changed or at least oiled. There is only one half of the spare rim present, with no tire, and there is no metal spare wheel cover (see pictures). Sold on a bill of sale only.
