| Description | I am selling my 1978 Vespa, it was kept in storage for most of its life, hence only having 1081 miles on it. It runs but needs a tune and the clutch handle needs to be installed. I have the handle and a variety of other parts that will all come with it. I was hoping to have it as my run around for the warmer weather but I have a baby on the way and there are other projects around the house that need to take priority, plus my wife isn't too keen on me riding around on two wheels.
It is a two stroke engine but you don't need to use mix, it has an oil reservoir and just regular gas goes in the tank. It was stored with the tank empty so there are no issues with varnishing. I have a short video of the engine running if required. It was the last year that Vespa made all metal fairings before moving to plastic ones, over all she is in great shape for her age, it really won't take much to get her up and running.
