1963 Lambretta TV200 (GT)
Year/Make/Model1963 Lambretta TV200 (GT)
DescriptionEbay link at the end of the description. Very nicely preserved example of one of the most sought after Lambrettas produced in Milan, Italy. There are multiple sources that say there were only 14,982 of these built. To find one with most of it's original paint and low miles is very difficult. The scooter is fully titled in my name as a 1963 but according to Cambridge Lambretta and other sources this was built in 1964. I ride this regularly on 200+ mile rides in our mountains and it never fails me. this scooter runs like a champ! The scooter starts within 5 kicks after sitting for a week. Almost 4,200 original miles. The motor has never been opened as far as I can tell. The only modification I have made is I had a Variatronic electronic ignition installed in 2015. The original ignition system worked well and is included. The scooter has scatches and scrapes. The paint has been touched up on the legshield, front fender, and other small areas before my ownership. The forks have been painted silver before my ownership. The original fork dampeners are worn out and will need to be replaced. The original seat is in great shape but there is a stitch that is coming apart on the side. I am including the original Michelin tires that came with the scooter but the scooter has newer Michelin S-83s now. The original battery strap, tool kit, and 2 sets of keys are included (ignition, column lock and glovebox lock). There are cool original dealer decals on the sides of the fender from Cappy's in Hackensack, NJ. Horn is VERY faint. Brake light and high beam indicator work well. Headlight and taillight are not working currently (I will update when/if I get them working). There are 2 holes in the front fender and one in the headset top from before my ownership you can see in the pictures. You are welcome to send your friend over or you can come over and check it out in person. IF you are using paypal the buyer will be responsible for all the fees (3%). Denver James will be picking a scooter up from me in the next few weeks so check with him for shipping. I have a shipper that can get the scooter to the west coast in a week - Long Beach to San Luis Obispo for $250. Uship is another good shipping option.
