| Description | 1951 Sears Allstate Vespa 788-100. One of the first thousand produced.. Aluminum cowls, mudguard. In pieces and mostly complete. I think this is in the VIN 600 range (VA32 16**) - the series started at VIN 1000. 1952 begins around VIN 2000. Also have an original paint (faded) sidecar that can be sold with it or with the other 1952 Allstate I am selling with original paint. Sidecar not sold separately.
I looked for about 20 years to find one. Very rare bird, the earliest series Vespa in the US. $4,500 obo for the scooter alone. |
