Vespa Allstate 100
Year/Make/ModelVespa Allstate 100
DescriptionI am offering my extremely rare Vespa Allstate 788-100 (short form "100"). I am only giving this away because I am planning and restoring another Allstate project. I got this piece of jewel almost five years ago from Scott D. from New Jersey, one of the specialists in early Vespa Allstates. The Allstate 100 was the first model specially produced for the US market. It differs from the outside, easily recognizable by the nameplate on the jewel flap and the central Allstate emblem on the front of the cascade. The passenger seat is not a mass-produced item, but was handcrafted exactly according to a sample. As you can see in the photo, the Allstate has a rare original passenger handle. Another accessory is the original spare wheel holder (including tire) or the original front luggage carrier. The scooter starts well, runs, lights working. Clear title from NJ. There is also a "Certificate of Origin" from the manufacturer Piaggio & C.S.p.A. with the no. 33106/17. The Allstate 100 is one of the rarest Vespa models ever. Only 9 machines are known worldwide (without two pre-serie vehicles). And this scooter with the chassis number VA2T 1465 is the third oldest known Allstate 100. It is an Italian Vespa because the Allstates were made in Italy. That is what makes them so popular in Italy, too. This Vespa cannot be compared with most of the Vespas on the market. It is absolutely rare and a model that is very much sought after by collectors, and even an investment. Please make an appointment for inspection. I also will help with shipping. Further photos and price on request.
