Comments: pinasco 177,24mm carb,hp4 lightened flywheel,scoot rs stainless steel exhaust(EXCELLENT PIPE!)I have changed the cosa clutch CENTRE GEAR to 21 teeth. standard 125 is 20 teeth. This engine set-up is ultra reliable, and pulls up through the gears quickly.I always use putoline semi synthetic oil, and BP ULTIMATE high octane fuel. I can recomend this set-up.

Comments: Pinasco + 60mm Mazz cut crank, timing @20 BTDC, NGK B9ES, milled Pinasco head w/ no packing plate, stock P200 gearing with 23/ 64 Malossi upgear, 10" VS1 star rims. Easy touring at 65mph with 1/2 throttle left, tons of torque pulling in 4th gear from 30mph up to 75mph top. 120/ 50 idle jet and the silde mod essentially eliminated the pinging with the throttle rolled off. BE4 was too rich, causing bogging/ rough transition around 1/2 throttle, and BE3 cleaned it right up. About 55MPG for spirited but not too crazy touring, maybe more for gentle ride.

Comments: Runs really rich due to the exhaust porting on the rapido. I am using the smallest pilot jet available and a small main, the scooter runs enormously differently when its properly up to temp, i cant seem to find a good balance to get any kind of tick over when just started.

Comments: I just installed the Sito Plus exhaust. I up jetted to a 96. According to the folks at Scooterworks the stock main jet was supposed to be a 94, but was actually a 78. So far the 96 jet has worked well w/ no fauling or overheating.

Comments: still cant seem to get the timing quite right. i think i also need a little better jetting. got a b7hs plug right now thinking of going back to a b8hs. after about 15-20 min. riding the piston heats up way too much and threatens seziure. lots of knocking at sustained speeds of about 50-65 with maybe half throttle, starts quietly and gets louder unless i gas it or let off the throttle. outside these issues this thing is a fuckin' screamer. if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to e-mail me.

Comments: have to run rich right now as exhaust is cracked. jl right hand is on order and should have it running soon. cylinder was just bolted on no porting yet, will complete that with the exhaust change. other changes are a mazzy full circle crank, cosa clutch and pinasco cylinder. as is it's good for about 65-70 mph top end.

Comments: Pulls strongly from bottom to about 3000 rpm. Flat for the next 1500 rpm, then strong up to about 7000. Revs go further, but power drops off somwhere between 7000 and 7500. The barrel is a slightly ported DR with a Polini head. Almost 170 psi.

Comments: Cases alloy welded and re cut transfers to match Malossi barrel. Carb box matched to Vortex and opened out slightly. Inlet area of engine cleaned up but not taken out in size. Readspeed centre plug head, squish at 1.2mm for 98 octane fuel with copper head gasket. Readspeed lightened and gas flowed strengthened crankshaft. HP 4 flywheel with added electric starter ring adaptor. JL left hand exhaust on order and the dyno is booked!

Comments: Sito + and upjetting did not give the performance until I drilled out the airfilter dam above the main jet, checked the plug a couple of times over 200Kms and increased the jet from 118 to 122. Very happy with result. Smooth response through all gears and revs, plug a little on the rich side, but I would rather that than sieze her.

Did the choke test at full throtle and discovered 110 too big, rpms dropped, switched it down to 107, redid the choke test no change in rpms, much better. Gears seem to have more length and scooters a bit more zip, quickness. Sticking with 107.

I have literally pegged the speed-o on the 90 toll way coming back into Chicago from the 'bubs. I ride this thing everyday, about 30 miles round trip to and from work and have just past 30K miles. Two winters. Dont let any one "naysay" the Stella. I beat her up good.
