Scooters I own:
1964 | Lambretta Li190 Special | Li150 Special with a MkII Deanspeed 190, GP crank, 24mm flat slide Mikuni, big bore exhaust, and electronic ignition. This was a complete basket case when I got it -- loads of grimy parts packed into greasy cardboard boxes. Now it's a hoot to ride and looks pretty clean. All spraypaint, but nice and shiny -- has kept its shine for something like three years now.

1966 | Vepsa 180 Super Sport | Second oversize and a Sito Plus with upjetted carb. Rode for three years and recently had paint and body done. In the middle of a l-o-n-g rebuild due to parenthood. |
1959 | Augsburg Vespa GS3 (VS5) | The last of the German GSes. This is a project that I have been hoarding and keeping on deck for a very long time. Building a basket case lammy, deciding to rebuild the Super Sport, having fun riding, and having two kids have delayed this a good deal, but it's fun to collect parts for it. I'm ready to go now, just need to finish the Super Sport. No rush. The project is the fun part. |
