About:	Well I am known as Monterey Pete because when I got involved with Vespas’ in 1998 I resided in Monterey, hence the name. Anyhow since then I have traveled across California and Western Europe by Vespa many times and have no plan to stop any time soon. I enjoy the scene because we all have a like interest and when I go to other countries I enjoy connecting with other scooter kids like us. This makes for a smaller world.
Scooters I own: 1972 Vespa GTR Shipped over from Italy. I put in a P200 engine so I could go the distance and get the extra umph! 1979 Vespa P200 My first scoot that has been the P-Dependable till I crashed it by pushing the limit too hard. Yet it still breathes.
