It was stolen from The Masters Apartment complex in the Castleton area of North-East side of Indianapolis, IN. on the 19th of September 2002. It had at the time of the theft, around 720 miles on the odomiter. The image to the right is where the VIN Number is located. The VIN Number is: JYASA17A22A010662 The color of the scooter is Metalic Putty Brown and Khaki (the colors and the appearence in the photos above and below are exact). In its compartment there was a silver full face helmet and a pair of red and black GT BMX gloves. It doesn't have a license plate. Note: This scooter does NOT have mirrors. | [link] Additional info: The theft occurred on October 12, 1998. Accessories and other distinguishing characteristics: 1) Chrome front bumper 2) Chrome rear rack and spare tire 3) Round stadium folding legshield mirror 4) Speedo lens has crack. 5) Speedo was hand painted by me (but it looked pretty good!) 6) The legshield trim was missing. The RH side of the legshield was slightly mis-shapen. 7) RH cowl had a little damage. 8) All 3 wheel rims were powdercoated white. 9) The seats were in great shape (I made them). They were black. 10) The driver's seat frame was rusty. 11) This Vespa was a roundtail. 12) The thief did not have the keys, so both of the locks have probably been broken. 13) The engine has a weird fluttering sound due to my inexperience as a mechanic several years ago. | ||

| [link] Additional info: my scooter was stolen from the sahara hotel valet lot sometime from 10 pm on feb 14 to 11 am feb 15th. it was parked in valet, where we were told to park, directly in front of a security camera. however the hotel refuses to let me see the tape and says no scooters were towed from their lot. here is a pic: http://198.202.31.217/gly/view_album.php?set_albumName=stolen it is a p200 with a pinasco top end and a sito plus pipe. WA licence plate 582053 serial no.
