Description: I have a 1966 Vespa 180SS. The VIN of the bike is VSC1T0023494 and the VIN of the motor is VSC1M0022154. The bike is 100% original and runs like a champ. It's been on the highway doing 60mph no problem (although it is a little shaky at that speed). It is in great shape other than a few minor scratches and chips in the paint but it's all original and I guess thats to be expected after 45 years. The bike is located in Charlotte North Carolina. Description: I acquired this parts bike as part of an ebay auction I won. I had every intention to dismantle it and sell it off for parts, however, I really just don't have the time to do this. This scooter, who I have deemed "Old Rusty," is exactly what his name says he is- RUSTY. Anyone who wants this is going to have to cut bolts off and use some elbow grease to loosen parts. It does have a very nice straight horncast and lower headset, which could be worth some cash if you want to dismantle this. This scooter does NOT have an engine. Looks great with light blue paint, O.E.M. headlight (glass not plastic)new michlin SC80 tires, new cables inner and outer, runs and shifts great, sound nice, bright headlight, brake light and tailight,runs about 40-45 M.P.H. Illinois title. The bad, horn doesn't work, no steering lock, incorrect speedo "not working". The frame is straight but the leg shield and left rear cowl still has light hammer marks and the handle bar covers are still unpainted, but the scooter is 100% safe and functional. It starts first or second kick. I would like to have asked $2800 Canadian for the scoot but it has recently started jumping out of 4th gear and I just don't have the time to fix it. Probably cruciform but could be as simple as a cable adjustment... as a result I will sell for $2500 Canadian.
