Comments: I was lucky enough to be serenaded for 10 minutes in spanish by one of the lovely locals. Is it just me, or did it seem like this year they didn't get scared off? I don't remember the locals being quite so prevalent last year.

Comments: wow, i say you got off easy. he told me his theory of the world inside at the spike... deep stuff. also, he would insist that i came there from france, although i would tell him that i was from michigan. after about 20 minutes, mineer swooped in to save me, but i'm afraid that he eventually got stuck with the dude for another 20 minutes.
