Comments: I'm delighted to hear this worked out -- I was worried it might seem convoluted, even though I could picture the route in my mind. just goes to show, being a courier was worth SOMETHING...I often wondered at the time ;)

Comments: Excellent Directions to 295 North from Vespa Washington.
Go north to Porter.
R on Porter (east), past Connecticut.
Porter turns into Klingle after the bridge in Rock Creek Park.
R at first light, four blocks.
L at fork onto Irving (Rock Creek Park is down on the right).
Follow Irving till it dead ends on Michigan.
L on Michigan three lights to Monroe.
Ease R onto Monroe (eastbound).
R onto S Dakota, which deadends on 295 North.
